A Message from oFarm:
" Woof! How ironic we chatted about bathroom accessibility and ours toppled over with some of these strong winds! So harsh but luckily we got it back up and serviced! Phew! On a more fragrant note, this GG has been surprised with finding out how many people are not fans of fennel! Like I'm sorry but....WHAT?? That sweet and then vegetal taste of the fronds, then that slightly bitter and then soon anise-y flavor with the bulb and stalks. Ugh yes, here lies my love letter to fennel! Roast it, sautee it, sweeten it, savor it, any way I'll have it sips my fennel simple syrup sweetened sparkling water
If the fronds aren't up your alley, there's some rainbow chard comin y'alls way. Don't mind the holes, it just means we don't use the icky stuff to kill the buggies that love the rainbow chard too! Trust me, they are still just as delish! Chats in the fields have been about all things from reality tv shows to what albums we've been listening to lately to Monster Jam???? One album this GG has been replaying, and is also enjoyed by the farm sweeties, is Sudan Archives 'THE BPM'. Hope ya listen and enjoy! Until next time...
