A Message from oFarm:

Okay it's officially fall because we harvested our first cut greens, arugula, for the farmers markets. It'll be available to y'all soon but in the meantime you can snag our other fave spicy green, mizuna!  Those super gorgeous purple bok choys are also available too! It's also flagging fall as we pulled out the first round of peppers! Def gotta put that nitrous in the tank and to crank out this bed building! I have a feeling things this year are gonna be done in a mere wink! Check back in next week for one last little surprise in the add ons shop...

Until next time!

Add-on Item Feature: Pawpaws

Seedling Orchard (South Haven, MI)

Pawpaws are America’s largest indigenous fruit, primarily found on the eastern coast of North America. A member of the custard-apple family, pawpaws are a delicate, green skinned fruit with several large, lima bean shaped seeds. Pawpaws have a tropical, funky, custardy flavor that intensifies as they ripen. Some some they taste like a cross between banana, mango, and pineapple. The skins and seeds are not edible and must be discarded. Cooking the flesh of the pawpaw lessens the tropical flavors and can be enjoyed fresh as well.

Please enjoy immediately as they tend to have a short shelf life!

Check out Pawpaws from Seedling in our add-on shop!

Pro-Tip for Produce Longevity

When your share arrives, immediately unpack your produce and move into proper storage containers!

Always Wash Before Eating

As a general best practice with all produce including ours, we recommend washing produce before eating.

Please Remember to Save and Return LUCSA Packaging

We request that you return your wax box and Finn’s Ranch egg cartons during your next delivery. Help practice sustainability by helping us re-use all of these items for future deliveries.

We’re unfortunately not able to re-use; non-Finn’s egg cartons, rubber bands, bags, berry containers or glass jars.
